The B Com department is the oldest department in the college with ten batches of students having graduated in commerce since the inception of the college. The course has an intake capacity of two divisions of 120 students each. There are about 700 students pursuing the B Com course and a staff of 9 full time faculty and 5 visiting faculty.

       The results of TY B Com for the academic year 2009-10 increased marginally over the previous year. The faculty members attended various seminars and workshops to develop their skills. Students of department of B Com have been actively taking part in different activities of several clubs, like Rotaract, NSS, and even in the college annual fest SIESONS. Also, EXEL 2010, the first inter class event for the B Com department was organize. One mid term test and two preliminary examinations were conducted for preparing the TY students for their exams. Eminent personalities were invited to career guidance lectures for TY students. The Placement Cell has a registration of 90 students who’ve been picked up by acclaimed companies like Wipro, City Union Bank, IDBI, etc.
