TRESOR 2010-2011
Tresor- the BFM fest was the first fest for the students of BFM. It was aimed at developing managerial, financial, leadership & team-building skills. It was a one-day event for the students of BFM. The Convenor for the fest was Mrs.Rohini Badheka. She divided the classes of FY & SY into 8 groups of 10 students. These groups came up with various games which focused on different skills. This led to some brain-storming among the group members for deciding on the games and the selection of games reflected on their creativity levels. On the day of the event, the groups then conducted their respective games, which helped them build on their organizing abilities. Thus, the entire event was a learning process for the students - right from forming groups, brain-storming, coming out with different games, organizing the games during the event & finally taking part in the games conducted by other groups.

The entire event was conducted by getting sponsorships from five different sponsors. The event was inaugurated at 11.00a.m. by the course co-ordinator – Ms.KoelRoyChoudhry. The event list included Stock Mart – the stock market game, which honed the investment & analytical skills of students. Another game was Guess Who – a game based on the general knowledge from the field of national & international Finance, Politics, etc. The list of games also included F-Art, a game based on the famous game of Pictionary which was modified to include Financial & General Management terms. Straw Art was also one of the games which focused on the creativity of students & team-skills. Other Team-building games included Treasure Hunt & Water Chain. In order to boost the spirit of student participation, Tug-O-War was also conducted as part of the outdoor game. The end of the event was marked by a Dance & Entertainment session of half an hour. The results were declared in the end.

The event was hosted by students of SY & FY. Lunch & snacks were served to students. This event was held for the first time for the students of B.Com (Financial Markets). It gave the students an insight into how an event can be conducted. Being the first time, the event was organized on a small-scale i.e. only for students of the course. But, next year we expect to take this event to a bigger & better level.
