Rotaract Club of SIES (Nerul)
Rotaract Club of SIES College (Nerul) of Arts, Science & Commerce is one of the many Rotaract Clubs in the world. Rotaract, is after all, the youth wing of Rotary club, which is an organisation with international presence. But RCSIES is not just any another club….it is one with a difference! RCSIES embodies the true spirit of the youth and symbolises their extraordinary power to make the world a better place. Contrary to popular belief, Rotaract is not a social service organisation though this is definitely high on their agenda. Rotaract focuses on the all round development of a person and takes a holistic approach towards this goal. It follows Gandhiji’s maxim-‘You be the change you would like to see.’
RC SIES was established on 17th September, 2008 and has grown from strength to strength since then. The club has actively organised events and projects like Rotaract Premier League (RPL), Dance Rotaract Dance (DRD), Pyaar Mein Twist, Peace Rally, Aao Wish Karein, PAM- Padhai Aur Masti (Visits to orphanages), Churn and Learn (a knowledge contest for school children), E-bulletins with clubs from other countries like Nepal, Peru etc. It has also participated in Rotaract District events like RED, RYLA and other club projects, thereby living up to its image of a vibrant thriving organisation
The theme of the club this year is ‘Burn it up’ which sums up the youthful energy, potential and promise of its members. The club continues to flourish and grow with renewed vigour as there is no limit to learning and fun… for…. the sky is the limit!!

This bulletin aims at introducing the new board of directors and gives a snapshot of the projects undertaken. Also through the theme it gives out a message that hard work has no substitute and one must strive to achieve one’s goals. Failure should not affect efforts and one must keep trying again and again till success is achieved. |
