| On 18th and 19th of January, 2010, SIES (Nerul) College of Arts, Science and Commerce was a venue to the event of Techno Vision. This event was an intercollegiate event of the Computer Science Department of the college. It was held with the motive of providing a platform for the computer science students to come forward and showcase their technical skills. It provided the students of this department with an opportunity to come up with their innovative skills and make this event a big success. The two day event was a runaway success with enthusiastic participation from students from different colleges in and around Navi Mumbai. The extracurricular activities like ‘PC assembling’ competition, Quiz, LAN Gaming, Debating competition and seminar were conducted. |

| Seminar |
| A Seminar by Prof. Ranjan Gupta, a researcher in IUCAA, Pune. The topics he delivered were –– “Opportunities in Astronomy – Telescopes of the millennium” and “Artificial Neural Networks –– Applications to Astronomy”. Later Mr. Nagarjuna G. from TIFR, the person who conceptualized the project GNOWSYS, a node oriented computing system gave a seminar on “Knowledge Networks and the semantic web”. Both these seminars proved to be of great help to the students as well as the teachers in improving their technical knowledge.
